Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine
Dr. J. Robinson Alexis was born in Cap-Haitien, Haiti and relocated to the U.S. when he was eight years old. After growing up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida he moved to Illinois to further his education.
On January 10, 2010, a devastating magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Haiti; saddened by this tragic event, Dr. Robinson returned to Haiti to aid relief effort. During his time in Haiti, Dr. Robinson served as a translator for Haitian creole speakers and English speakers. While serving as a translator, Dr. Robinson met a Chiropractic Physician, also there to help relief efforts. Dr. Robinson was inspired by watching him help countless people, while only using his hands.
Upon returning to the States, Dr. Robinson went on to achieve his Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic where he was the president of the Student American Black Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Robinson knows the power of chiropractic and is using the skills and experience to improve the quality of life for his patients. His goal as a chiropractor is to identify how the body is impacted by daily life events and correct the imbalances which can lead to the early degeneration and increased risk for injury and illness.
