OK, OK, so it took 20 years, but it will be worth the wait. WholeHealth Chicago’s new location is in the Beverly neighborhood, at 3237 W, 111th Street.
The location is actually in Mount Greenwood, but no one except those who live there knows where Mount Greenwood is. (There is also to my knowledge no identifiable mount anywhere in the neighborhood.)
Opening day is Tuesday, April 5, 2022. To start, we’ll be open Tuesdays and Fridays.
Since we have a lot of patients on Chicago’s South Side (who’ve been asking for years for a more convenient location), we’re taking appointments for the new office now. To schedule, call 773-296-6700.
Dr. Caley Scott will be the lead provider at this new location. Dr. Scott is a fully degreed Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND). Click here to read about Naturopathy and how it differs from conventional medicine.
Like all of us at WholeHealth Chicago, Dr. Scott also practices Functional Medicine, which evaluates chronic symptoms as issues of dysfunction rather than disease. Functional Medicine also focuses on preventing chronic illness instead of long-term treatment/management with prescription drugs and surgery.
South Siders will have access to our full line of Infusion Therapies, including ozone, ultraviolet, Myers’ cocktail, Immune Boost, and Detox IVs.
We’re also setting up an Apothecary, so you’ll be able to replenish your supplements or just come in and browse.
Using Naturopathic principles, Dr. Scott works easily with patients who want to maintain a relationship with their primary care physician. She and I have shared the care of many (many!) patients over the years in a seamless partnership. When she feels conventional medicine is needed (a prescription drug, a specialist referral) we’re in contact with each other literally in minutes.
Dr. Scott’s special areas of interest are chronic fatigue syndrome, adrenal/thyroid fatigue, autoimmune disorders, mold/biotoxin illness, chronic Lyme disease, toxic metals, food intolerances, digestive disorders including parasites and leaky gut, candida overgrowth, and nutritional medicine. She will continue to offer telehealth appointments.
We’ll be adding chiropractic, acupuncture and nutritional counseling in the near future.
As you’re reading this, contractors are putting the final touches on the new office. See you there soon.
Be well,
David Edelberg, MD
