Dr.Donigan is the best doctor that I have ever had. I am 65, have hypothyroidism, high blood pressure, and achy joints, etc.. She listens, closely, to my concerns, and prescribed medicine, vitamins, and supplements, which, over time, have helped me feel, so, much better. She is, always, going to seminars, to learn, more, on how to help her patients. More doctors should be like Dr. Donigan, because anybody going, to her, would improve their health.

I am grateful for what you all have done for me and how you do it. It’s been a long time trying to find clinicians who truly listen, use modern diagnostics such as ION and who are even willing to discuss the role of nutrition or something like core strength as pertaining to fatigue. I have found individual silos of help over the years, but not a truly integrated approach under one roof. Given clinicians slow acknowledgement of some of the modern, difficult-to-diagnose conditions (cfs/fibro) and diagnostics (ION/Adrenal Profile), there can be doctor fatigue, trying to convince someone a symptom is real yet one more time. After years of it, interacting with just one more clinician openly can be challenging. Interacting with a group of clinicians on all the aspects of a situation would have seemed near impossible. The Whole Health team made it easy for me. You all have given me practical results, explained with both modern and ancient diagnostics and in a very comforting manner. And it is more than just good bedside manner. It’s having an entire group, each person having good bedside manner, backed up by the range of modern diagnostic and treatment talent. Perhaps it is just normal days’ work for you all. Perhaps I’ve been overseas too long dealing with different operating modes, but I doubt it. Regardless, my experience is that you all have created something special in your practice. It has been very helpful to me. I am grateful. I appreciate having worked with each person I’ve interacted with at WH – Dr. Donigan, Dr. Rubin, Karen, Marla, MaryGrace and the ladies at the front desk. You all have been very helpful and a delight to work with.

In October of 2009, I sought out medical advise from my PCP of back then with complaints of stomach distress (frequent bloating and discomfort). The PCP sent me to a lab for blood work to r/o H Pylori and Celiac Disease. The results returned positive for Gluten Intolerance. Later a biopsy of my small intestine was performed to confirm the diagnosis. I immediately then changed my life style to Gluten free.
Close to year post my diagnosis, I still wasn’t 100%. The PCP sent me to an allergist for further testing which was an allergy test performed by using the skin scratch method. The allergy test showed positive for multiple food and enviromental allergens. After all these testings and abiding of changing my life style accordingly, I STILL wasn’t 100%.
I decided that the year of 2012 was going to be THE year of finding better medical methods which had me find WholeHealth Chicago. I have been under the care of Dr. Kelley and Seanna together and must say, what a super team of medical heroines they have become for me.
With my initial visit with Dr. Kelley I was very impressed on the extensive and thorough tests she ordered for me which had me question “Why did my PCP (of then) never ordered these tests?!” I knew from that moment I was at the right place. Seanna took the time to go over in DETAIL in regards to my allergy result of which I had taken back then with the allergist whom she NEVER explained it the way Seanna did. Again, confirmation I was at the right place.
These two examples is just a tiny scratch on the surface of the MANY more experiences of wonderful and thorough care I have been given by Dr. Kelley and Seanna. I can not justifably express the gratitude I have for them both. They are truly important attributes to WholeHealth Chicago. 1.5 hours one way 😉 but still worth every bit of Chicago’s infamous around the clock traffic. Lol. Without them here at WholeHealth Chicago, I would be seeking medical care elsewhere.
Sincerely,
Mary O.
